Step-father of Dr. Janet MacKinnon and Joanne MacKinnon. Lovingly remembered by his six grandchildren. Predeceased by his wives, Muriel Stewart and Joan Mandel, his sons Blair Johnston and Stewart Johnston, his sisters Clara MacLean and Ethel MacRae. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Central United Church Cemetery, Dunstaffnage. Visitation Thursday 6-8. Memorial donations may be made to Cross Roads Christian Church or the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. St. John’s Lodge #1, Charlottetown, will hold a prayer service at the funeral home on Thursday at 8 p.m.
