POWER, John – Passed peacefully away at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre on Monday, November 9, 2009, John Power of Admiral’s Cove, aged 66 years. Predeceased by his parents John and Annie M. Power and his sister Elizabeth Battcock. Leaving to mourn his wife Josephine and her family; one brother Tom (Mac); two sisters: Maureen (Pat) Mackey and Patrice Hawkins and their families; brother-in-law Tom Battcock and his family. Also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Remains resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Tuesday, November 10th and Wednesday, November 11th from 2 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial from Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Cape Broyle on Thursday, November 12th. at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Center or the Palliative Care Unit, Miller Centre.
