Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital December 9, 2011 after living life to the fullest. Predeceased by her first husband, Neilson James; parents, Frederick and Gretta Percy; sister, Elsa Whelan; and brothers: Graham, Clarence, Roy, Allan and Leslie. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories, her loving husband, Douglas Mingo; brother, Ralph Percy (Selma); sisters-in-law: Blanche, Lillian and Olive Percy, Doris Fage and Nan Grant: step-children: Doris Petro, Martin and Henry Mingo and families. Along with many nieces and nephews, all whom she dearly loved; as well as a large circle of extended relatives and friends. Visitation will take place at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 10 am-12 noon. Funeral service to celebrate her wonderful life will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Tuesday December 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
