Teulon, Matthew Aaron, 23 of Waldeck, Sk., passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the farm near Waldeck. The Funeral Service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2011 at St. Stephens Anglican Church with Reverend Jonathan Hoskin officiating. The organist was Janet Neubauer. Soloist was Sharon Veer. Life tribute was presented by Brent Teulon and Lindon Martin. Scripture Readers were Jamie Budd and Richard Dyck. The Ushers were Clifford Veer and Joe McGregor. Pallbearers were Dustin Parker, Luke Martens, Danny Spenst, Derald Busse, Ken Heffley and Jack Chalmers. The Interment Service took place at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Swift Current, Sk. Matthew was born in Swift Current on November 10, 1988. He attended school in Waldeck, Swift Current Comprehensive High School, University of Saskatchewan, University of Regina and The Centre for Arts and Technology in Kelowna, B.C. During the summers, Matthew worked a lot on the farm and also pumped gas, built bins and moved furniture. As a child he played piano and was in Judo. He loved playing hockey as a goaltender and played video games and computers. He loved animals, especially his dogs. Matthew also loved watching sports especially the Riders and Blue Jays. He had a keen interest in Life Sciences and liked to share his knowledge with others. Music was a special passion and he was studying to become an Audio Engineer. Family and friends were very important to him. Matthew especially enjoyed family holidays, birthdays and Christmas celebrations. Matthew is survived by his parents Mark and Gloria; sisters Erica and Leah; brother Lindon (Kari) Martin; nephews Deacon, Luke and Corben Martin; grandparents Elsie Teulon, Peter and Helen Dyck; uncles and aunts Brent (Carla) Teulon, Elizabeth (Brian) Bernstein, Ward (Jennifer) Teulon, Todd Teulon, Richard (Donna) Dyck, Gary (Mily) Dyck and Wes (Maryann) Dyck and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather Mel Teulon. Matthew will be fondly remembered but sadly missed by his family and friends.
