Gerald "Gerry" Wilson
WILSON, GERALD "GERRY" - June 11, 1967 - December 11, 2011 - Riverview, NB - LAST CALL!!! - Two and a half years have passed since Gerry bravely began his battle with cancer. It is with heavy hearts that we announce his passing. Born in Halifax, NS, Gerry is the son of Philip Wilson (Helene Berube) and the late Hazel Wilson (Dave Dauphinee). After attending St. Thomas University, Gerry worked as a lawn care specialist, then moved on to offer his expert listening skills to his many patrons at the Chris Rock. Gerry was a proud Alumni member of the Moncton Football Association. Not only did Gerry play for most of his childhood, he continued to share his knowledge and love of football through coaching. Left to remember his lively spirit and his laughter are his wife Angie (Hillman), daughter Gerry (Geraldine) and son Nash; his father Philip (Helene Berube), brothers Fred (Mary Ann) and Ted (Christine Perry) and sister Charlotte Bradley (Jamie) as well as many loved nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother Hazel, Gerry was predeceased by grandparents Dorothy Drummond and Earl and Helen (Geraldine) Wilson.
The family will be receiving visitors at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM, with a service celebrating Gerry’s life to take place at Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, December 14 at 1:00 PM. With Rev. Aaron Billard officiating. Donations in Gerry’s memory can be made to a Trust Fund for his children and would be greatly appreciated by his family.
