Passed peacefully away at the Blue Crest Interfaith Home, Grand Bank, on Wednesday, December 07th, 2011, ALFRED FOOTE, of Collin’s Cove, Burin, NL, in his 88th year. Leaving to mourn his loving wife, Rachel, daughter Edith Hodder (Enos), Creston South, sons Terry, Burin, Gary (Donna), Port aux Basques; 6 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grand Children, brother Bennie, Bowmanville, ON; nieces and nephews, and a large circle of lifelong friends.

Alfred is predeceased by his parents Walter and Emma Foote, sisters Lydia and Maria and brother Rennie.

Rev. Donna Lovelace conducted the funeral service at Zion United Church, Collins Cove, on Sunday, Dec. 11th, 2011; at 2:00 pm. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery in Collins Cove, NL.

In lieu of flowers, in Alfred’s memory, donations may be made to Zion United Church Cemetery Fund, Collins Cove.

Pall bearers were Christopher Foote, Karen Foote, Toby Foote, Trina Byrne, Allan Foote, and Josh Foote.
