We were blessed to have parents who have always shown the importance of family. Farming was central to his life, as was his love for nature. For years, he and his brother Bill raised and showed purebred Hereford cattle. He was an ambassador for his community and was a founding member of the Birch Hills Credit Union, participated in 4-H, Young Men’s Service Club, served on the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool Committee, Watershed Committee and in his youth was an avid curler, ball and hockey player. Dad was known for his friendly nature, quick wit and a sense of humour that persevered to the end. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
