Our dear Kailen slipped away quietly on December 10, 2011 in Kamloops, BC. Kailen was born on February 9, 1983 in Red Deer, Alberta.

Kailen is survived by his loving mother, Loretta Williams, his sister Shayla, aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends and co-workers.

He was predeceased by his father, Rocky Kozowy, grandma and grandpa Christensen, grandma and grandpa Kozowy and aunts and uncles.

For the last 6 years, Kailen worked at Top 40 Woodworks and came to view his boss and co-workers as family. Kailen was a kind and caring person who marched to the beat of his own drum and stayed true to himself, spreading joy to others through his smile and laugh. Kailen also enjoyed the outdoors: skateboarding, mountain biking, fishing camping and most recently he started to take a liking to cooking.

Dress casual as Kailen would know you, also bring your skateboard for a skate in memory of Kailen.

Those wishing to pay their respects by viewing, may do so on Thursday, December 15, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Schoening Cremation Centre, 177 Tranquille Rd.

A Celebration of Kailen's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at McArthur Island Curling Club, 1665 Island Parkway, Kamloops.
