RICHARD, ROGER - 1931 - 2011 - Roger Richard, 80, of Saint-Antoine passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent, on Tuesday, December 13th, 2011. He was married to Hectorine (Cormier) Richard. Born in Notre-Dame on March 12, 1931, he was the son of the late Alderic and the late Rosée (Caissise) Ricahrd. He will be sadly missed by his wife Hectorine, his six children; Thérèse Richard (Sam Cormier) of Saint-Antoine, Rita Clark (Brian) of Fredericton, Denise Richard (Jacques Arsenault) of Campbellton, Rhéal (Lise) and Jean-Claude (Denise) of Saint-Antoine, Jacques (Suzanne) of Notre-Dame, one son in-law Arthur Brun of Saint-Antoine, and nine grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn two sisters; Lucie LeBlanc of Saint-Antoine and Yvonne Cormier (Francois) of Notre-Dame, two brothers; Désiré and Paul (Claudette) of Notre-Dame, and several nephews and nieces. Roger was predeceased by two daughters, Oliva (1977) and Lucie (2010), one sister Sarah and one brother Hervé.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Antoine on Thursday, December 15th, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Friday from 1 to 2:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Antoine Church on Friday, December 16th, 2011 at 3:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery. In Roger’s memory donations can be made to the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital Palliative Unit or to the Foyer Saint-Antoine.
