It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jerry F. Brake announce his sudden passing at his residence on Wednesday, December 14th, 2011 at the age of 70 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: Christine Brake, Jerry (Sharon) and Darren Brake; grandchildren: Chad, Natacha, Ryan, Latysha and Naomi; brothers and sisters: Don Brake, Rhodie Brake (Olive), Mabel (Roy Ryan), Grace (Ed Arnold), Ray Brake and Alvina (Herb Greene); special friend: Joan Janes; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son Roddie Brake, grandson: Robert C. Brake; and parents: Ray and Marjorie Brake. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 19th at 11:00 a.m. from All Saints Church, Reverend Dereck Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
