Peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Home on Friday, December 16, 2011 of Fred M. Oakes of Charlottetown and formerly of York, age 87 years.
Beloved husband of Earla (nee Ling). Dear father of Vivian (Paul) Drake, Cyndi (Robert) Walker and Lise Sauvé. Grampie to Austin (Amanda), Ian and Lynn Drake; Eric and Sonja Walker; Adam, Michael (Molly) and Donald MacLean. Great-Grampie to Kiara MacLean. Brother Of Herbie (Pauline) Oakes and Lois (Russell) Filman.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. Interment in York Cemetery.
