Furey, William (Bill) P (November 10, 1951 - December 04, 2011). Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Palliative Care Unit in Grand Falls-Windsor. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Cindy (Brooks) and his cherished children, Patrick (Aimee), Elizabeth (Kurwin), and Lauren; his brothers, George (Janet), Pat (Mary), Michael (Trina); and his sisters, Marion (Ken Yetman), Marie (Bren Cooke), Elsie (Bill Thistle), Peggy (Bill Allan), Helen (Fred Colbert), and Patsy (Gordon Yetman); mother-in-law, Pauline Brooks, sister-in-law Karen (Ross Cater), and brother-in-law, John Brooks (Francois) as well as a wide circle of family and friends. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, December 7 at 11a.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Donations in his memory may be made to the Grand Falls-Windsor SPCA or to the Palliative Care Unit, Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor.
