DONALD, ISABEL PRICE “ISY” (ATTRIDGE) - Nov. 23, 1923 – Dec 15,2011 Isabel Price “Isy” (Attridge) Donald formerly of Moncton, passed away in Halifax N.S. on December 15, 2011. She was the only daughter of the late Herman and Lillian (Price) Attridge of Doaktown, N.B. where she grew up. A graduate of Mount Allison School for Girls ( High School), Mount Allison University with a Bachelor Degree in Home Economics, Montreal General Hospital Dietetics Department, she taught at Moncton High School for many years. She attended First United Baptist Church, Moncton and was a longstanding member of the Evelyn Eaton Missionary Group and a member of Frank H Tingley Chapter O.E.S. #5. She was a gentle, loving and generous person who always put her family first. She is survived by one daughter, Alexa L ee and her husband Bruce S. Miller of Dartmouth,N.S. and two grandchildren, Matthew and Melissa. She was predeceased by her husband,Lloyd G. Donald. She will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held at Ferguson-Knowles Funeral home 1657 Mountain Rd in Moncton on Tuesday, December 20, at 1:30pm with the Rev. Dr Richard Jackson officiating. Visitation will take place Monday December 19 from 7 to 9. Interment will be in St Thomas United Church Cemetary, Doaktown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
