WINSOR, Eric C. (1934-2009)– With the heaviest of hearts and the deepest of sorrow, we, the children and families, along with his loving wife Karen, who was his constant companion, announce the passing of our dear father and husband, Eric C. Winsor. He passed peacefully away on November 10 at his beloved residence in Bay Roberts, surrounded by family, after a brave and courageous 10-month battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his first wife of 48 years, Annie J. Clarke, who is the precious mother of his children; parents; Pastors A.S. and P. Palmer (Bishop) Winsor; beautiful sister Fay Bath; parents-in-law: Walter J. and Ethel Clarke. Leaving to mourn this great loss are his wife, Karen (Janes); daughters: Pam (Vangeli) Prezas, Agrino, Greece; Shelley (Stephen) Orr, Sugarland, Texas; son Keith (Nadine), Paradise, N.L.; six grandchildren: Constantina (Christos) and baby Doumas, Stephanie Prezas; Kody and Bailey Orr; Jordan and Jeremy Winsor; brothers: Arthur (Sonja), Wilmer (Margie), Baxter and Gary (Eva); brothers-in-law: David (Marlene) Janes, Burton (Sherry) Janes, Lloyd (Vi) Clarke, William (Janie) Clarke; sister-in-law Hope (Don) Fraize; special aunt Daisy Bishop, plus a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends who have all been a great source of strength and comfort over the years. Rested at Moore’s Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Funeral took place on Friday, Nov. 13 at 2 p.m., from the Pentecostal Tabernacle, Port de Grave. Interment followed at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Bay Roberts. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation, St. John’s. NL.
