NICE, BEATRICE - Beatrice Nice, formerly of Prince Street, West Saint John has gone home to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Bobby's Hospice. Born 1920 in Halifax, NS she was the daughter of the late William and Emmie Ann (Day) Elliott. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Ralph Nice; brothers Frank Elliott, James Elliott and infant brother Jack; sons-in-law Rob Bradley and Harvey Hooper. She is survived by her loving children William "Bill" Nice (Carol) of Musquash, Fred Nice (Frances) of Saint John, Frank Nice (Sharron) of Musquash, Joan Meating (Ken) of Saint John and Verna Marie Hooper of Back Bay; brother-in-law Hiram Nice (Janet) of Saint John; sisters-in-law Doreen Elliott of Saint John, Agnes Murdie of Grand Bay-Westfield, Verna Lee of Grand Bay-Westfield and Davene Nice of Saint John; 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) with visitations Monday, December 19 and Tuesday December 20 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday December 21, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. A private family interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.
