TUTTLE, Kenneth Raymond – 80, The Mira Long Term Care Facility, Truro, passed away peacefully, Sunday morning, December 18, 2011, at The Mira. Born May 25, 1931, in Saint John, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late Merle and Alberta (McLellan) Tuttle. Ken worked as a firefighter with US Air Force and later moved to Truro where he worked as a firefighter with RCF in Debert. He was a former member of Truro and Salmon River Fire Brigades. He will be sadly missed by his dear friend, Marjorie Fisher, Valley. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Jean (Weatherbee); adopted daughter, Kenda Tuttle; half brother, Art McLellan. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at The Mira Long Term Care Centre Chapel, 426 Young Street, Truro, Reverend David Lutes officiating. Spring interment in Robie Street Cemetery. If so desired, donations in Kenneth’s memory to a charity of choice are welcomed.
