Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on December 12, 2011, after a short illness, David Tucker, in his 77th year. Leaving to mourn are his loving wife, Geneva; three daughters: Blanche (Hayward), Sharon and Stella (John); one son, Sheldon (Jill); six grandchildren: Darren, Terry, Michael, Matthew, Emma and Evan; two great grandchildren: Hayley and Parker; three brothers: Silas (Patricia), Jack (Marion) and Oliver (Janet); three sisters, Norma (Everett), Cynthia (Thomas) and Mary. Also a large circle of other family and friends. Rested at the Faith United Church, St. Jones Within, from where the funeral service, officiated by Rev. G. Jarvis, took place on Thursday, December 15, 2011 with interment following. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vardy's Funeral Home, Hickman's Harbour, Random Island.
