As a result of a car accident in Cable Head on Saturday, December 17, 2011, of Alton MacKenzie of Cable Head, formerly of Montague, age 85 years. Veteran of the Second World War.
Special friend of Margaret Sheehan. Dear father of George, Manitoba; Elva, Ontario; Joanne and Boyd, both of Nova Scotia. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son Brian.
Resting at Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home from where the service will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment in the Community Park Cemetery. Visitation: Monday 7-9 p.m. only.

Members of the Montague Branch #8 of the Royal Canadian Legion will have a service of remembrance for their comrade at the funeral home on Monday at 7 p.m. All comrades invited to attend.
