Passed peacefully away, surrounded by her loving family, Loretta Mercer (nee Peddle) at Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, November 13, 2009 of Bay Roberts, aged 72 years. Leaving with fond and loving memories, husband Eric; son David (Carol Ann) Mercer, St. John’s; daughter Joanne (Joseph) Mayer, Hampden, Maine; sisters Joan (Dan) Stone, Jeanette (Warwick) Taylor, Hilda (Ed) Stone, Barbara (Carl) Chubbs; sisters-in-law Emily (Robert) Dyckson, Sylvia (Cyril) Thornhill, Lillian (Harry) Crawford; brothers-in-law Austin (Ruby) Mercer, Howard (Carol) Mercer, Ches Baker and predeceased by sister-in-law Geraldine Baker; also many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Visitation Saturday 2 to 5 p.m., 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 12 Noon, 2 to 5 p.m., 7 to 9 p.m., Monday 10 a.m. to 12 Noon. Funeral service to take place on Monday, November 16, 2009 at 2 p.m. from St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Bay Roberts. Interment in the St. Matthew’s Anglican Cemetery, Bay Roberts.
