GIONET, MARGUERITE - Marguerite Gionet of St-Joseph passed away on December 22, 2011 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital at the age of 78. Born December 31, 1932, in Pre-D’en-Haut, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Gautreau and the late Dora Gould. She is survived by her husband Leonard, five daughters, Claudette Gionet and Denise (Robin) Swan both of Dieppe, Nicole (Charlie) Gionet of Saint John, Gisele (Marcel) Gionet of Shipagan and Rachel (Marc-Andre Arsenault) Gautreau of Dieppe, two sons, Roger Gionet of Toronto and Paul (Nadine) Gionet of Dieppe, 7 grandchildren, three sisters, Althée (late Yvon) Dupuis of Dieppe, Lilliane (Ernest) Hebert of Pre-D’en-Haut and Doris Leger of Moncton, two brothers, Camille Gautreau of St-Joseph and Laurie Gautreau of Dieppe and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two sisters Prima (2011) and Lorraine and two brothers Frank (2011) and Fred.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Monday December 26 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday December 27 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral mass will be held at St-Thomas de Memramcook church, St-Joseph on Tuesday December 27 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
