July 21, 1937 - November 17, 2009. Passed peacefully away after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer at the L.A. Miller Centre on Tuesday, November 17, 2009, William (Bill) Pretty of Dildo, aged 72 years. Predeceased by his parents Angus and Mae Pretty, brother Raymond Pretty, sister Irene Hiscock and nephew Mervin Pretty. Leaving to mourn and celebrate his life with thanksgiving are his loving and devoted wife of 47 years, Cicely; children: Darlene (Garfield Piercey), Rodney (Glynis), Sharon (Gerard McGrath), Mellisa (Gordon Brown); grandchildren: Terri-Lynn, Mark (Tiffany), Trevor (Chantille), Julie, Joann and Ashley; great-grandchildren: Austin, Hayley, Jaxson, Alexa and Cayden. Also lovingly remembered by sisters: Dorothy (Ron Janes), Marion (Irving Elliott), Shirley (Sterling George), Phyllis (Ron Peddle), Annie (Al Hutchings), Sandra (Randy Voth); sister-in-law Cecily Pretty and brother-in-law Milton Hiscock (Maxine) and a large number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Resting at Warren's Funeral Home, Dildo with visitation on Wednesday, November 18th, 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., Thursday, November 19th. 10 a.m. - 12 noon. The funeral service will be held from the Salvation Army Citadel TBS Corps on Thursday, November 19th at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery.
