Beloved husband of Kathleen "Kay" Newcombe (nee Dyment). Born in Tyne Valley on Sept. 17, 1922, the son of the late Charles and Emily (Maynard) Newcombe. Dear father of Jackie, Fernwood; Ron (Dot Gallant), Tyne Valley; Charlene (Brian) Williams, Edmonton; Leslie (Judy), Halifax; Donald (Pam), Charlottetown. Loving grandfather of Kevin, Carl, Kurt, Atley, Mark, Paul, Avril, Penny, Vanessa Newcombe, Andrew Williams, Andrea Williams-Cooper, Christine Newcombe-Gallant and great-grandfather of Jacqueline. Brother of Muriel MacDougall, Tyne Valley; Delores (Don) MacDonald, Charlottetown. Brother-in -law of Henry Birch, Birch Hill; George (Wilna) Millar, Birch Hill; Marion Senick, Vancouver, B.C.; and Joyce MacLennan, Port Hill. Predeceased by daughter-in-law Cheryl and by brother-in-law Waldo MacDougall.
