Age 37 years. It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of Dale, who passed peacefully away in Toronto on November 13, 2009, in the presence of his wife Peggy and daughter Regan, his Mom and Dad, Peggy’s Mom and Dad, his brothers, and other family members. Dale was an incredible husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who was loved so deeply. The effect Dale had on so many people will never be forgotten and we've lost an irreplaceable member of our family. Leaving to mourn Peggy (wife) and Regan (daughter); Leo and Mary Walsh (parents); brothers: Ed (Sharon), Leon (Tammy, Emma, Liam and Aaron), Philip (Sherida, Meghan, Philip), Todd (Christine, Leo, Adele), Leo (Sherry, Brittany, Cameron), Tom and Mary Power (parents-in-law), Madgalen Power (grandmother); sisters-in-law: Penny (Barry, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Nicholas), Cynthia (Craig) and a long list of relatives and friends. The family’s heartfelt appreciation goes out to the various health care professionals who cared for Dale over the years, and a special thank you to Dr. Mary Noseworthy and to the Toronto General Hospital Lung Transplant Team. In addition, we will never forget the incredible support shown by family, Friends and others throughout Dale’s life and especially during the last year. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held from St. Patrick’s Parish on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
