MCMULLEN, SUSAN - It is with the deepest of sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Susan Eileen McMullen (Smith) on December 21, 2011 at her residence. Susan was born on August 28, 1946 in Valleyfield, Quebec. She was the wife of Bryan H. McMullen (42 years) and the mother of Sherry E. McMullen. She was the daughter of the late Ernest & Bronwen Smith and the sister of the late David Smith. She was loved by her family and many friends and will be especially missed by her dear friend Norman of Montreal. She was the best friend of her daughter Sherry and a treasured mama to her yorkie, Willie Jack.
There will be no visitation as per the request of the family. A celebration of Susan's life will take place at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John West, (634-1701) in the "Fallsview Family Reception Centre" on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012, from 6 to 8 pm. We will mourn her but will also celebrate the special person she was with stories and music. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Saint John Animal Rescue League or donor's choice. Online condolences may be placed at:
