August 7, 1959 - November 14, 2009

We are saddened to announce the passing of Debbie "the little woman with the big voice".

Deb is survived by her mother June, sister Wendy and family, brother Bill, sister-in-law Lynn, roommates Patsy Wessel and Jenna Whitmore.

Deb was predeceased by her father William, Grandmother Ann, niece Brittany and long time roommate Esther Dalcol.

Debbie lived her whole life in Kamloops; she lived in Tranquille until moving into her home in Dallas. Debbie was admired for her smile, her laugh and her great strength and determination. Debbie had a love for the outdoors especially the feel of the wind on her face. Debbie liked attending sporting events, concerts, going on picnics and participating in events around town. She enjoyed a relaxing stroll through a park or simply sitting in her favorite chair or her swing on a sunny day - listening to her radio. Debbie was a member of the Dallas / Barnhartvale Baptist Church and the Dallas Community Association.

Debbie will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.

and may the winds continue to blow.

Special thanks to the nurses in ICU and on Seven North at Royal Inland Hospital for making Deb as comfortable as possible.

Debbie will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery on Monday, November 23rd at 12:30 p.m.

A Celebration of Life will follow at Schoening's Funeral Chapel at 1:00 p.m.
