Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Palliative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Centre, on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, Elizabeth Lillian Barbour, aged 80 years. Predeceased by her husband Chesley, mother and father Myrtle and Charles Hampton, sister and brother-in-law Greta and John Williams. Leaving to mourn and never forget her kind and loving heart are her son Bob (Alice) and daughter Kathy (Perry Hayward); granddaughters: Vicki (Reg Stoyles), Jennifer Noseworthy (Brad) and Kandice Lawlor; great-grandson Ethan Noseworthy; siblings: Joe Hampton (Fran), Shirley Udle (Charlie) and Stan Hampton (Pearl); sisters-in-law: Alfreda Pike, Doris Barbour and Viola Barbour; twenty-four nieces and nephews, as well as other family and friends, as well as special friends in Deadman’s Bay. Resting at Carnell\'s Funeral Home and Reception Centre, 1045 Topsail Road, Mount Pearl, from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, November 18, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, November 20 and 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, November 21. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 21 at 2 p.m. from Gower Street United Church with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
