It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael Cyril Gallant announces his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on December 27, 2011 at the age of 76 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: Roy, Susan, Rodney, and Ida, six grandchildren, sister Mary Wheeler, brother Howard Gallant, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Melvina, parents Michael and Sarah Gallant, sisters: Isabella Wade, Theresa Gallant and Marjorie Hann and brother Frederick Gallant. Visitation will take place on Friday, December 30, 2011 from 2-3 pm at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road. A memorial service will take place immediately following at 3 pm at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel with interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
