Peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Wednesday, December 28, 2011, of Hannah Irene Shaw (nee Crane) of Lorne Valley, age 78 years.
Wife of the late Donald W. Shaw. Dear mother of Eileen (Joe) MacIntyre, Cardigan; Boyd (Gloria), New Perth; Blair (Sherrell), New Perth; and Dorothy (Leslie) Drake, Vernon Bridge. Loving grandmother of Daniel (Amie) MacIntyre, Jason MacIntyre, Brian MacIntyre (Charley), Tracy (Robert) MacKinnon, Laura Shaw, Scott Shaw (Mallory), Miranda (Danny) Hogan, Nicole (Eric) Decoursey, Justin Shaw, Adam Drake, Patrick Drake, Sarah Drake and 8 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Isabel (Fred) Vaerewyck. Also survived by sisters-in-law Lois Crane, Beatrice Campbell and Shirley Peterson.
Predeceased by infant daughter, Jean Isabell; infant grandson, Steven Walter; her brothers Wendell and Bennett Crane and Boswell Campbell; and brother-in-law, Ralph Nicholson.
Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home until Friday, then to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Cardigan, for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in the Lorne Valley Cemetery. Visitation: Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
