The death occurred peacefully at the Summerset Manor, Summerside on Sunday, May 4, 2008, of Fidele John Arsenault of Summerside, aged 93 years. Veteran of the Second World War. Fidele was born on June 3, 1914, in Egmont Bay, P.E.I. to his late parents Azade and Lionide (nee LeBlanc) Arsenault. Beloved husband of 66 years to Catherine (nee Martin) Arsenault and loving father of David (Sandra), Jimmy (Norma) and Alvin (Eleanor) all of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his six grandchildren Randy, Ann, Susan, Toby, Candace and Ryan, his 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. As the last surviving member of his family, Fidele was predeceased by his brothers Albert, Alyre, Cyril, Edmond and Toussaint and his sisters Florence, Dora, Domithilde and Evelyn. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, where completed funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
