CRABBE, Richard “Dick” Hudson – 78 of Hebron, Yarmouth Co. N.S., passed away December 26, 2011. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick on February 5, 1933 he was the son of the late Harold and Mary (Callan) Crabbe. Dick loved playing and coaching sports and was on many provincial teams in Amherst and Yarmouth. He graduated from Springfield College in Massachusetts with a degree in Phys Ed. Dick came to call Yarmouth home in 1956. He is survived by loving wife, Norma (Pratt) Crabbe, Hebron, Yarmouth Co. N.S.; son, David Crabbe, Yarmouth; daughter, Cheryl Crabbe, Auckland, New Zealand. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Yarmouth. Interment will be at a later date. Donations in Dick’s memory may be made to Yarmouth Minor Hockey Association or Beacon United Church.
