
Ken "Tom" Killam
KILLAM, KEN “TOM” E. - Ken “Tom” E. Killam, 68, of Riverview, with his family at his side, passed away at his residence following a lengthy illness, on Wednesday evening, December 28, 2011. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Earl and Helen (Bowlby) Killam. Ken was a retired Parks Supervisor for the Scoudouc Industrial Park, Province of New Brunswick. Ken enjoyed camping and spending quality time with his family and his dogs, Kalie and Buddy, listening to Gospel and country music, watching curling on television and puttering in his workshed. He was known for joking, teasing and for his big, hearty laugh. He was past president of the Birchmount Home & School Association, the Moncton Jaycees and attended Parkside Baptist Church. Ken will be sadly missed by his wife of over 38 years, Karen (McCormick) Killam; loving children, Tanya Campbell (Mike Roy) of Moncton, Jason Killam (Jaclyn Hetherington) of Grand Falls; precious grandchildren, Aidan and Haley; brothers and sisters, Ronnie (Diane) of Marysville, Diane Page of Rothesay and Bob (Wanda) of Riverview; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his stepfather, Ford Steeves.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Saturday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday January 1, 2012, 2:00 pm, Pastor Matthew Porter officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service.
