It is with deep sadness that the family of Donald Bourque announce his sudden passing at home on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Donald and Eleanor (Nash) Bourque.
Donald is survived by his daughter, Mary (Steven) Evans, Ontario; and son, Donald (Crystal) Bourque, Alberta. He is also survived by grandchildren, Anthony, Geoffrey, Carol Ann, Jordan and Haley.
Besides his parents, Donald was predeceased by his wife Carol.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, at S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. A committal service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011, at Resurrection Cemetery.
Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
