We, the family of the late John Thomas Bearnes would like to thank everyone for their thoughtfulness and kindness shown to us at a most difficult time. To each and everyone who made hospital visits, sent food to our homes, sent Mass cards, made monetary donations and expressed kind words, thank you. To those who traveled to be with us at this time, thank you. To Dr. Fairfiled, Dr. Crawford, E.R. Staff and especially the 3rd Floor Nursing Staff at the Glace Bay Health Care Complex, your kindness and support will never be forgotten. To the Palliative Care Team for being there when we needed you, thank you. To V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home for your kindness and professionalism, we thank you. Thank you to the lay ministers who brought communion on Sundays to the hospital. To Father Leo Boone for your hospital visits and beautiful celebration of life, your kind words were very comforting. To the Immaculate Conception Choir for your music and the Immaculate Conception C.W.L. for the beautiful lunch served after the service, thank you. To the granddaughters for your part at the church service, “Pappa†would have been proud. Special thanks to Shirley and Jim, Graham and Sadie and Darlene and Barb for your kindness and support. Also, to Sister Sylvia for just being there. To each and everyone who touched our hearts at this most difficult time, thank you.
