The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on November 19, 2009, of Hilda Mae Prosper of Cardigan in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Prosper. Beloved mother of Wilfred (Sheila) of Cardigan, Peter of Georgetown Royalty, and Urban (Marcela), of Toronto, Ont. Dear grandmother of Vincent (Sue), Joedy and Chad Prosper. Great-grandmother of Tyler. Predeceased by her parents, John and Lena Brown. Funeral mass to be celebrated at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Georgetown, on Monday, November 23, 2009, at 2 p.m. Interment in the parish cemetery. Resting at St. James Roman Catholic Church Lounge, Georgetown, for visitation on Sunday, November 22, 2009, from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, in Hilda’s memory, donations may be made to the Diabetic Association or to the St. James Parish Cemetery Fund, Georgetown.
