The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside on Friday, Dec. 30, 2011 of Harold “Shorty” Anderson Williams of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 83 years. Shorty was born on Jan. 30, 1928 in Brighton, Michigan, U.S.A. to his late parents John and Cherrie (nee Snowbond) Williams. Beloved husband of Brenda (nee Sharpe) Williams and loving father of Linda Boivin of Albernie, B.C., Sharon (Dennis) Shute of London, ON., Beth (Tolson) Clarke of N.S., Penny (Bob) Jazwinski of Cold Lake, AB., Cherrie Meloche of Ottawa, ON. and Harold “Buddy” of Comox, B.C. Also lovingly remembered by his 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Shorty was predeceased by his brothers Wesley and Eugene. Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, Jan. 4, for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Visiting hours on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations in Shorty’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated.
