Peacefully and surrounded by family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, November 22, 2009, of Mr. Austin Trainor of 12 Fairview Dr., Sherwood, age 79 years.
Dear husband of Eileen (Murphy) Trainor. Loving father of Mary (Mark) Hanneman of Wolfville, Patrick (Jenn) and Paul of Toronto, Ontario. Loving grandfather of Luke, Emma and Alex. He is also survived by his sisters, Edna Gallant and Rita MacInnis, and his brothers, Louis (Mary) Trainor and Aeneas Trainor.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Catherine (Doyle) Trainor; his brothers, Emmett (Rita) Trainor and Pius Trainor; sisters, Ada (Damien) MacGuigan, Alice (Austin) Bolger, Ann Trainor; and brothers-in-law, Peter Gallant and Houlton MacInnis.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 12:45 Wednesday afternoon, then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 1 p.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Members of the St. Pius X Knights of Columbus Council 6917 will hold a prayer service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 6:45 p.m.
