It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Douglas Garry Sheppard on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at Seaview Manor in Glace Bay.
He was the son of the late Douglas and Edith Sheppard.
Garry was a member of St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Glace Bay. Garry was employed at Sobeys Glace for almost 40 years. He was an avid bowler.
Garry is survived by daughter, Laura, Alberta; son, Doug, Ontario.
Predeceased by his parents, and his wife, Toni.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 4 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Glace Bay, with Rev. Vernon Reid officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
