Loved by many whom she cared, accepted and understood, Helen Ferris (nee Joseph) wife of the late Ferris J. Ferris passed away Jan. 1, 2012, at age 82.
A unique, brave woman admired by those who knew her. Because of her unconditional love and inspiration she will be missed by family and friends.

Helen resided in Sydney, Lake Ainsle and Inverness.
Helen’s loving family are children, Sheila (Hamish) Bulger, Mark Ferris, Jamie (deceased), Deborah Ferris (Robert) Hewitt; grandchildren, Shannon, Valerie (Max) Authier, Ferris, Mark Jr., Angela, Marlon (Delphine) Bulger, Damian (Chloe) and Allison; great-grandchildren, Triston, Mallory, Joshua, Carmen, Lexi and Jacob. She is also survived by her two sisters, Anne, Freda and brother, Richard.
Wake at Chant’s Wednesday, Jan.4 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Inverness wake at Stella Maris Church, Inverness , Saturday Jan 7 at 2 p.m.
