It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hedley Wiseman announce his passing on Friday, December 30th, 2011 at Corner Brook Long Term Care Home, DVA Ward at the age of 92 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his wife of 63 years, Ethel (nee Reid); two daughters: Janice (Richard Tysoe), The Netherlands and Debra (Terry Park), Lark Harbour; grandchildren: Lucas (Michelle) Colangelo, Matthew Willis, Stephen Park, Brittany (Mitch) Park; great grandchildren: Nathan and Rachel Colangelo, and Brayden Park; as well as extended family and friends. Friends visited Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service took place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 2nd at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Nellie Thomas officiating. Interment followed at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Lark Harbour. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the VON or the St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour.
