Passed peacefully away on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, Catherine Mary Chatelet (Nee Kennedy) in her 82nd year. She leaves to mourn her step-brother James (Betty) Brake, Curling; sister-in-law Jeanette Kennedy, Norris Point. She will also be sadly missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Marcel Chatelet, parents Richard and Drucilla Kennedy, brothers John and Anthony Kennedy, sister and brother-in-law Margaret and George Jones, nephews Douglas and Kevin Jones and baby niece Sheila Jones. Special thanks to staff at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital 4th Floor and Palliative Care Unit and special friend Lynn Kulchyski. Cremation has taken place at Catherine’s request. A memorial service and interment will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Corner Brook.
