After a lengthy battle with brain cancer, Claudia died peacefully at home on January 1, 2012, in her 76th year. Predeceased by her parents Wallace and Alice LeDrew; and brother John LeDrew. Leaving to mourn Frank her husband of 47 years, son Daniel and daughter Kimberly (William) Casey of Fall River NS; grandchildren Maria and Mathew Casey, Taylor and Morgan O’Connor; brother Robin (Kay) Kelligrews and sister Angela Heather Bishop (Bobby Fultz) of Oviedo, FL; nephew Robin (Pam) Bishop of Orlando, FL, nieces Christine Mastroianni of Welland, Ont, and Sharon (Perry) Barnes of Burlinton, Ont; great-nephews and nieces Carter and Alex Bishop, Luca and Peter Mastroianni, Alex and Jamie Barnes. Cremation has taken place. Visitation to be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday from 7-9pm and then on Tuesday from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service to be held from Gower Street United Church, St. John’s, NL on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 1:30pm. A reception will be held in Gower Street United Church Hall immediately following the Funeral Service. Interment will take place at a later time at Topsail United Church Cemetery, Topsail, NL.
