Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at St. Patrick’s Nursing Home on November 20th, 2009, E. David Bishop, age 72 years. Leaving to mourn loving wife of 50 years, Loretta (nee Oliver); three loving sons: David (Janice), Todd (Goldie) and Shawn; two loving daughters: Michelle (George Baker) and DeAnna; five special grandsons: Trevor (Shannan), Travis, Troy, Luke and Damien; three special granddaughters: Laura Lynn (Travis Boudreau), Jasmine and Danielle; great-grandson Brayden Boudreau who will always have an angel watching over him; three brothers; Johnny (Geraldine), Bernard (Bernadette), and Dougie (Denise); sisters: Maureen Murphy, Rose (Bill Reardon) and special sister Bernice; brother-in-law Bill Kavanagh. A special thanks to the Oliver Family along with many other extended family and friends and his special feline friend Tommy (Mittens) and special friends Ern Antle and Eric Adams. Predeceased by his infant daughter Annette, his twin sister Ann and sisters Joanie and Jean Kavanagh, parents John and Rose (nee Gardiner), special buddy Calvin (Flash) Oliver parents-in-law John and Marion Oliver, brothers-in-law Jim Murphy, Gordon Harvey and Oswald Oliver. With a special thanks to St. Patrick’s Home staff for loving care especially the 3rd floor and 3 south. Funeral service to take place from St. Teresa’s Parish on Tuesday, November 24th, 2009 at 11 a.m. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
