STRINGER: We regret to announce the peaceful passing of Harry Stringer, age 85, from Hodges Cove at the Dr.G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on December 29, 2011. He is predeceased by his wife, Marcie, parents, Joseph and Matilda, brothers, Eldred (Blanche), Lester (Ella), Gilford (Edith), sister, Gertie (Lewis), son-in-law, Marc. Leaving to mourn, daughters, Lexley (Kevin) and Rexene (Mark); three grandchildren and three great grandchildren and also a large circle of family and friends. Rested at the United Church, Hodges Cove from where the funeral service, officiated by Rev. Robert Tuck, took place on December 31, 2011 with interment following. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vardy's Funeral Home, Random Island.
