Brenton, Sandra Ruth, 71, Brentwood, passed away on January 1, 2012, at home. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Marion Clark. A loving mother and grandmother, Sandra loved children and enjoyed babysitting them. Cooking was also a favorite pastime of hers. She is survived by her husband, David; children, Kimberley Gaudet, Halifax; Kevin (Andrea) Gaudet, Truro; David (Cindy) Brenton, Calgary, Alberta; grandchildren, Megan, Zachary, Tyler and Jordan; sister-in-law, Penny Clark, Moncton, NB. Sandra was predeceased by a grandson, Andrew Gaudet; brother, Robert Clark. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service in her memory will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 2 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, with Rev. Valerie Kingsbury officiating. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Canadian Cancer Society.
