Passed peacefully away at St. Clares Mercy Hospital. Elizabeth Mary Picco, aged 79 years. Predeceased by her husband Benedict Picco (March 13th, 1999). Left with fond and loving memories her two daughters: Mary (Doug of Halifax) and Anne (Jimmy of Oregon); two sons: James (Gilda of St. John’s) and Fabian Picco of B.C.; grandchildren: Jimmy (Jill), Fabian (Kim), Douglas (Kendra), Melissa (Ben), Renee and Jeanette; brothers: Gerard (Joyce in Luneburg) and Fred Murphy of Southern Harbour; sister: Blanch Conway of St. John’s; brother-in-law: Cornelius Picco (Bertha of St. Joseph’s, Salmonier; good friends: Pete, Jane and Joe Emberley of St. John’s; special friend: Gilbert Riggs of St. John’s as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, November 24th, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice.
