(August 7, 1918 - November 22, 2009) — Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Lion’s Manor Nursing Home, Placentia on November 22, 2009 Margaret Traverse of Ferndale aged 91 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Michael in 2002; her three brothers John, Dominic, and Aloysius. Leaving to mourn with fond memories are her daughters Irene (Derm), Lilian (Jim), Kay (Burke), Chris (Pats), Madonna (Gerard), Linda (Jim), Marilyn (Rick); two sons Ed (Jose), and Kevin (Carm); 29 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; brother in law Tom (Lena); sister in law Rita; as well as a large circle of other family and friends. Resting at Maher’s Funeral Home, Placentia on Monday, November 23 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24 at Sacred Heart Parish, Placentia.
