RAYMOND, DONALD - The death of Donald Robert Raymond, age 67, husband of Ethel (Carter) Raymond, of Norton, NB, occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, Sussex, NB, on Saturday, December 31, 2011. He was born in Norton, NB, on June 9, 1944, the son of the late Robert and Pearl (Long) Raymond. He will be forever loved and missed by his wife Ethel, of 39 years; son David Raymond and his wife Kristina of Rothesay, NB; daughters Pamela Sisco and her husband Nick of Ghana, Africa, Janet Bond and her husband Brent of Blacks Harbour, NB; grandchildren Jane, Clara, Kate, Allanah, Stephen, Isaiah, Madison; sister Marjorie Boyd and her husband Oscar; sister-in-law Eleanor Raymond; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his infant sister Joyce and brother Russell.
He is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visitation on Saturday from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service, conducted by Pastor Rick Vincent, will be held at Abundant Life Church, Sussex, NB on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. A private family interment will follow in Riverbank Cemetery.
