Passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Moose Jaw Union Hospital. Ester at the age of 80, predeceased by her parents Sam and Minnie Blumhagen, one brother and by her beloved husband Howard (1997). She will be lovingly remembered by her children Dick (Martha), Shirley, Lucille, Sandra (Brian), Douglas and Lorraine; her 10 grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 7:00 pm at Parkview Funeral Chapel, 474 Hochelaga St West, Moose Jaw. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Central Lutheran Church, 27 Hochelaga St West, Moose Jaw. Rev. Bill Cantelon will officiate and interment will take place at Sunset Cemetery. In memory of Esther, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Arrangements are entrusted to Parkview Funeral Chapel.
