Donald Oulton

Donald Oulton, age 84, of Jolicure, passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital on Monday, December 26, 2011, while surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Jolicure, he was a son of the late Russell and Marjorie (Weeks) Oulton.
He was raised and lived in Jolicure all his life where he was a lifelong dairy and beef farmer. He was a member of the Shorthorn Association and the Soil and Crop Organization. He was very proud of recently receiving "Farmer of the Year" from the Port Elgin Exhibition in September 2010.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 50 years, the former Charlotte Richards, Jolicure; sons Stephen, Jolicure and Harold (Cynthia), Sackville; daughters Lori (Scott) Hall, Jolicure, and Julia (David) Dulenty, Jolicure; 10 grandchildren, Ryan, Luke, Mark, Brandon, Jessie, Cory, Sara, Trevor, Krista, and Matthew, several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sister Barbara Green and brother-in-law Finley Green.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, N.B. (506-364-1300), where visiting hours were held on Thursday, Dec. 29, from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service took place at the funeral home on Friday, December 30, 2011, at 2 p.m., Rev. Dr. Eldon Hay officiating. Burial took place in the Point de Bute Cemetery.
