CORBETT, CAROL ANN - The passing of Carol A. Corbett of Maugerville, NB occurred on, January 3, 2012 at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital, she was 70. Born in Devon NB, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Edith (Armstrong) Sherwood. Carol was a member of the Maugerville Baptist Church, and worked at the DECRH as a Porter Orderly until her retirement. Survived by her sister Barbara Garrity (Ray); brother Walter “Bud” Sherwood (Zeta); many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Jean, Eileen, and Mary; brothers John, Bob, and Allen.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 7 to 9 PM at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road. Funeral service will held at the Devon Park Baptist Church, on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 2 PM. Interment at a later date. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society.
